Weekend news show of LA SEXTA TV has collected the testimony of two of Dr Piñal’s patients which underwent reconstructive microsurgery procedures after suffering serious damage to their hands: a discharge from electric blinds and the amputation of fingers in a labour accident

As detailed in the report by Abel Román and Javier Márquez, the advances in hand surgery by the Spanish surgeon Francisco del Piñal have made it possible to significantly increase the percentage of success in operations for mobility recovery, in the face of traumas and / or serious pathologies in the upper extremities.

Thus, the cases and testimonial of two of Dr Piñal’s patients subjected to reconstructive microsurgery are addressed. On the one hand, the case of María Ángeles with a large loss of function in both hands due to a discharge from some electric blinds; on the other, Francisco’s, who suffered the amputation of two fingers of his dominant hand, the right one, in an accident while working.

Francisco del Piñal is considered one of the world’s best upper limb surgeons, thanks to his design and execution of new techniques and innovative clinical approaches, currently applied worldwide.
