The Spanish surgeon has participated as a guest speaker at the 70th edition of the annual meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, held in Seattle.

Dr Francisco Del Piñal took part last week in Seattle (Washington State, USA) at the 70th meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (AASH). The Spanish surgeon, guest speaker, presented the latest techniques in two of the fields in which he is considered one of the world’s leading experts: the microsurgical approach and recovery of the catastrophic hand, in addition to radius fracture intervention.

The event, in which Del Piñal participates for the second consecutive year, has had 2,400 attendees, gathered at the Washington State Convention Center on September 11 and 12 under the slogan ‘The practice of hand surgery in the 21st century ‘.
