Francisco del Piñal was the only Spanish surgeon in the foreign teaching team of the meeting.

The city of Coimbatore, in the federal state of Tamil Nadu, on the southwestern tip of India, hosted from Thursday to Sunday last week the 42nd Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH). chirurgien

Dr Piñal was part of the international group of foreign lecturers of the meeting, as the only Spanish surgeon speaker in the different theoretical-practical proposals developed in the Ganga Hospital complex and the Le Meridien hotel.

The Spanish physician performed one of the live demonstrative surgery sessions, prior to the most expository-based part of the congress; in this Dr Piñal gave a master class on reconstructive microsurgery of the hand and addressed his experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with ulnar pain.

Piñal closed his participation by detailing the options offered by a greater use of cannulated screws in metacarpal and phalangeal fractures.
