The meeting, chaired by Dr. Francisco del Piñal, will gather at the Cantabrian capital 1500 medical professionals from all over Europe

From June 22^nd to 25^th 2016 Santander will host the XXI^st Congress of the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH), becoming for a week the center of international research and knowledge dissemination on Traumatology.

The Santander Convention Centre, where most of the activity of the meeting will be held, will host around 1,500 participants from all over Europe.

Thus, many of the world’s leading experts in this surgical discipline will show in the Cantabrian capital the latest advances in the treatment of upper limb patologies.

Santander will take over Milan in this annual event, hosted in 2013 by the Turkish city of Antalya and whose 2014 edition will take place in Paris, in late spring.

The conference will be chaired by the Spanish surgeon Francisco del Piñal, Secretary General of the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society (EWAS), whose proposal –together with the institutional support attracted- has played an important role in the final election of the city.
