Del Piñal comes as the first Spanish surgeon to hold the Honorary Chair Harold E.Kleinert – Joseph E.Kutz for outstanding ex-alumni

During his period as visiting professor, Dr. Del Piñal will perform various teaching activities amongst conferences, demonstrative sessions and technical work meetings.

Today, Del Piñal has presented at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute (CMKI) Conference Center several case studies on hands rehabilitation through toe to hand transfers. On Thursday, in the same location, he will be addressing different cases of arthroscopic treatment of distal radius fractures and malunions.

Besides, on Friday, from 7.00 AM (local time), Del Piñal will attend a surgical grand rounds with faculty and students in the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Ambulatory Care Building

The activities described, and several others, will shape the busy schedule of the Spanish surgeon, who will also coordinate a research session in which several specialists will present the results of his work.

Dr. Francisco del Pinal is the first Spanish to hold the Harold E. Kleinert – Joseph E. Kutz, Honorary Chair of the University of Louisville, which distinguishes the most prominent alumni of the largest training program in upper limb surgery of the world. Del Pinal thus becomes the Harold E. Kleinert and Joseph E. Kutz Visiting Professor in Hand and Microsurgery 2014 of the  CMKI.
