The Spanish surgeon has approached the lesion with his technique of inserting cannulated intramedullary screws. The intervention has taken place at the Vithas La Milagrosa hospital in Madrid.
Lucas Cañizares, international in the lower categories of the Spanish national team, is son of former Spanish international Santiago Cañizares, ex player -among others- of Real Madrid and Valencia.

A couple of days ago, I suffered training a fracture in one of the metacarpal bones of my hand. Thank God, today I have been operated successfully. I face this small injury, as a new opportunity to improve, and from now on I will work to be back as soon as possible.
