I prestigiosi dottori Piñal e Tonkin hanno tenuto conferenze online sulla microchirurgia, concentrandosi sui progressi nel trattamento delle malformazioni congenite della mano, le anomalie del pollice e i problemi catastrofici della mano.
La Società canadese di chirurgia della mano ha organizzato una “Giornata scientifica” sulla microchirurgia presso l’Università di Montreal (Canada), e i professori Piñal e Tonkin sono stati invitati a presentare conferenze online sui progressi nel trattamento delle malformazioni congenite della mano, le anomalie del pollice e le condizioni catastrofiche della mano.
Il professor Dominique Tremblay, direttore del programma specializzato in chirurgia plastica della mano, del polso e dei nervi periferici presso l’Università di Montreal, ha invitato i medici a partecipare a questo evento.
La partecipazione del Dr. Piñal ha incluso una conferenza sui progressi nel trattamento delle malformazioni congenite della mano, le anomalie del pollice e le condizioni catastrofiche della mano. Il programma è stato sviluppato in collaborazione con l’Associazione degli specialisti in chirurgia plastica ed estetica del Québec, insieme al programma di chirurgia plastica dell’Università di Montreal.
Queste conferenze avevano l’obiettivo di identificare le indicazioni per la ricostruzione del pollice, riconoscere le indicazioni per la ricostruzione del pollice nei bambini, comprendere i rischi, i benefici e le complicazioni delle chirurgie di ricostruzione del pollice, riconoscere le sfide di un paziente che ha subito un trauma al pollice, sviluppare competenze per risolvere casi complessi e integrare le conoscenze e le ricerche dei membri e dei residenti nello sviluppo di presentazioni scientifiche, tra gli altri obiettivi.
