The prestigious Spanish surgeon Francisco Piñal, considered one of the best hand surgeons in the world, participated in the congress ‘Current Problems of Upper Extremity Surgery: From Hand to Hand in Adults’, held in Yaremche, Ukraine, on 12 and 13 September 2024.

Dr Piñal, whose revolutionary techniques of microsurgical toe-to-hand transfer and arthroscopic surgery for wrist fractures have been adopted internationally, gave a talk that generated great interest and discussion among the audience. His intervention was considered one of the highlights of the event.
