The bullfighter Ginés Marín has broken the fourth metacarpal in his left hand, an injury which has disrupted his bullfighting schedule.

The bullfighter suffered a defeat from his second bull while fighting in Mexico, and was taken to hospital after the end of the bullfight in Jalostotitlán, in the southern highlands of the state of Jalisco, to undergo radiological tests which confirmed the injury.

The bullfighter was taken directly to Madrid for surgery on Tuesday 13th February by the prestigious surgeon Francisco Piñal.
Ginés Marín, under the supervision of this renowned specialist in hand and wrist surgery, continues with his recovery, awaiting the start of rehabilitation.
Operation on his right hand
Dr. Francisco del Piñal has already successfully operated on Ginés Marín after the goring he received on September 19th at the Feria de San Mateo in Logroño, in the Plaza de la Ribera. In this case, he suffered a goring to the fingers of his right hand.
Marín’s return to the bullring is expected to take place on the 7th of March in Castellón, and after that he is scheduled to fight in Las Ventas on the 7th of May.
