Liviu, patient who comes to Dr. Piñal’s surgery after an accident at work. “I cut off two fingers with a circular saw”. Two toes have been transplanted onto his hand.

On 25 February 2022, Liviu underwent his first operation by Dr Piñal and his team to transplant his first toe to his hand at the Hospital Vithas Madrid La Milagrosa. Two weeks later, on March 8th, he was operated again to transplant the second toe to his hand.

One month after the last surgery, Liviu, tells us his testimony of how the process has been and above all how he feels nowadays.
