“Unmatched. The volume of patients they have both in Madrid and Santander, the complexity of the surgeries, the care and dedication of the entire team to their patients from the moment of their first consultation, surgery and rehabilitation phase are impressive.”

Dr. Osman Benavides Gonzales, Gran Canaria University Hospital How did you find out about Dr. Piñal’s training program? I learned about the training program through senior residents and associates who attended the program in previous years. Why did you choose it? From the beginning of my training in Traumatology, the world of hand surgery and limb reconstruction caught my attention. As I progressed in my training, I discovered the works and publications of Dr. Del Piñal, which were very impressive to me. The variety of pathologies, their complexity and the multidisciplinary management of them by Dr del Piñal’s team made me decide to do my rotation at that center. How would you describe your experience from a professional point of view? Unmatched. The volume of patients they have in both Madrid and Santander, the complexity of the surgeries, the care and dedication of the entire team to their patients from the moment of their first consultation, surgery and rehabilitation phase are impressive. The organization of the institute makes it possible for the rotator to make the most of the training: access to two libraries with hundreds of books on hand surgery and reconstructive surgery, the interest of Dr. Del Piñal and his entire team in transmitting their knowledge in each phase of the patient management as well as recommendations for clinical practice make the rotation totally beneficial and recommended. And personal? Spectacular, Dr. Del Piñal’s entire team has made me feel at home, integrated into the team, interested in my professional and personal training. Any advice for future rotations? Training program totally recommended for any Traumatology resident interested in hand surgery and reconstructive surgery. Do not hesitate to choose this rotation to inspire you to continue studying the hand. Anything else you would like to add? Just thank Dr. Del Piñal’s entire team. Definitely an experience to never forget and if possible to repeat in the future.
