A little boy who was born with a malformation in his right hand has undergone successful surgery.

This feat has been achieved by Dr Francisco Piñal, one of the best hand surgeons in the world.
He was born with a malformation and, thanks to a transplant of his toes, he will be able to grasp objects and have sensitivity. It is the first time this has been done in a single operation.
